How do I book a stall?
Through our website. Confirmation is immediate and your Tax Invoice will be emailed to you within 15 minutes (check your spam mailbox if you don't receive within this time limit). You can book up to three months at a time.
The event I want to book for is marked as sold out, what do I do?
Events marked as full are sold out. We have an organised wait list system which we use to help stallholders trade at events which are sold out. There is no alternative process - so to enter events marked as sold out, you will need to have your name added to our wait lists.
How can I get my name added to the wait list?
Send an email to markets@kirrbilli.org.au with the subject line [market date]. Within the square brackets include the date of all markets you wish to attend. In the body of the email tell us your mobile phone number, your name and what products you intend to sell. Include photos if the stock is new or unique. We are often successful in adding wait listed stall holders to market events who apply by this process. There is no alternative process.
A market manager gave me a promise/commitment. How do I follow this up?
If a market manager has made a commitment to you (such as a location change) the discussion is best kept between yourself and the manager. Email the appropriate manager with your name, mobile phone number and the nature of the situation. See the end of the FAQ for which email address correlates to which stall type.
I need to transfer or cancel a booking. What do I do?
Bookings can be refunded but not transferred. To receive a refund you must send an email request for a refund to markets@kirribilli.org.au before 12.00 pm on the Monday prior to the market day for which refund is sought. If a situation arises close to the market date and you require a refund we may issue refund if and only if a doctors certificate covering the date in question is included as an attachment in the email. Full refund will be paid minus a 30c transaction fee.
Where will my stall be?
Stall allocations are updated on our website on the Thursday before market day or at the information tent on market day. Allocations refer to spaces on the map.
Can I choose my stall?
No. Stalls are allocated depending on the products that are being sold. However you can request a stall site at time of booking.
Where do I park?
There is some free street parking available in the vicinity of the market. The earlier you arrive, the better chance you have of accessing a free all day street park.
Where do I unload?
Between 6.00 am and 8.00 am we offer a five minute loading zone in Burton Street (off Alfred Street) for the General Market and between 6.30 am and 8.30 am for the Art & Design and Fashion Markets. This area is manned by Traffic Marshals; please pay attention to the directions given by them. Double parking is illegal on public roads and police do patrol the area. No stallholder is permitted to double park while unloading. The loading zone opens again from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm for pack up.
Do I need to check in?
No. Stallholders can go straight to their stall site and commence setting up immediately. Stall numbers are marked with white paint and a map is available at the information tent if you cannot find your site. Make sure you check your allocation before setting up. Stallholders are encouraged to bring their receipts on market day.How do I organise a table?
The website allows pre-booking of one table per Stallholder. Only tables which have been pre-booked are guaranteed to be available. The tables are available along the Bowling Club side of Bradfield Park. Market staff will be there with a list of those who have paid for tables. Should you require an additional table these may be paid for by cash on the day depending on availability. Stallholders are encouraged to bring their receipts on market day as proof of purchase. Bonds are returned between 1:30pm and 3:30pm only. How do I organise for a tent, umbrella or clothes rack?
Stallholders have to provide their own.
What if it rains?
Kirribilli is an all weather market and operates in all conditions. We encourage stallholders to come prepared for all weather including bringing a tent or cover. There are no refunds for rainy days. Some of our best trading occurs in wet weather!
How do I contact a market manager?
If your query is not answered by this document, please email Adrian or Roland depending on your stall type.
All location requests relating to open air stall sites should be sent to Roland who handles queries relating to the Fashion market and the General market outside area.
Queries relating to the Art & Design market, food, advertisement, music and entertainment, or General Market tunnel stalls should be sent to Adrian.
